In September of 2012 David Phillips showed a large painting in The Museum of
Contemporary Art in Marin, California for the MOCA Fall National Show. Joining
the prestigious list of artists with MOCA, Phillips was contacted by collectors
that buy from a majority of his influences. Immediately returning to the studio
Phillips completed his largest commission to date. "Ready to Give" is the
first piece made available for purchase withheld by the artist from the
commission. "Ready to Give" measures 12" x 14 1/2" Mixed Media on Illustration
Board. The piece comes framed in blonde pine wood by Phillips's personal framer. The piece is the original and will not be made available for print.
